There are, in fact, directors who manage to elicit notorious star comedian Adam Sandler a remarkable performance. Judd Apatow did this with the self-reflexive “How Life Is Playing” and especially master director Paul Thomas Anderson was able to get a fabulous performance out of Sandler in Punch-Drunk Love. Dennis Dugan, on the other hand, with Sandler, among other children’s heads and Leg not mess with Zohan turned on, is far less successful.
Worse yet, my fictional wife (remake of The Cactus Blossom Oscar 1969 for Goldie Hawn!) Is an absolute disaster for which everyone involved in the land should be ashamed.
